Snoop Dogg Opens Cannabis Store S.W.E.D. Near LAX Airport

Multi-entertainer and weed specialist, Snoop Dogg has recently opened his first licensed cannabis store near the LAX Airport titled with the acronym, S.W.E.D., which is one of his signature phrases, Smoke Weed Every Day.

For early Snoop Dogg fans, the title of the dispensary is in reference to the final line in Dr. Dre‘s record, “The Next Episode,” sung by Nate Dogg. The store, which opened its doors on July 14 will be the place to pick up top-shelf premium products and services for the fans and connoisseurs of cannabis.

Inside the dispensary is an iconic wooden Death Row Records chair, an area that commemorates the Doggy-Style album, as well as Snoop’s hand-written sayings graffitied on the walls. The location of S.W.E.D. is conveniently located between SoFi Stadium and the airport.

Forbes reported that the store will release an exclusive line of cannabis products in honor of Tupac Shakur. The product line features jarred cannabis flower starting with the classic strain Alien OG. With the purchase, consumers will also get one of four never-before-released photos of 2Pac in front of a Death Row Records wall covered in graffiti. A matchbook with the same photo will be included with the purchase. The exclusive release will be available for purchase in select California dispensaries by Friday, July 19th, with consumers able to purchase it in Michigan later this year.

Snoop Dogg is planning to launch a S.W.E.D. coffee shop in Amsterdam, Netherlands in August 2024.

It will be just in time after he has completed his upcoming broadcasting duties for NBC and Peacock as he is joining its coverage of the 2024 Olympics this summer in Paris. The multitalented lyricist will lend his views onsite at the Olympic Primetime Show, starting July 26 on NBC and Peacock.

NBC will air the Olympic Games Paris 2024 on NBC and Peacock from July 26-Aug. 11.
