Naughty by Nature Releases Collection with Champion Benefiting NJ Youth

Grammy-Award-winning Hip-hop trio Naughty by Nature unveils a new capsule collection with Champion. Proceeds will be donated to raise funds for the Cicely L. Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts choir in their hometown of East Orange, New Jersey. The limited-edition fashion line includes fitted and oversized t-shirts, hoodies, and hats detailing the empowering mantra, “Champion by Nature,” sold exclusively on NaughtyByNatureStore.com. |
The elementary school choir performed a spirit-lifting rendition of The Script’s hit, ‘Hall of Fame,’ featuring will.i.am, for a music video while wearing “Champion by Nature” to conclude the school year. The rap trio—Treach, Vin Rock, and DJ Kay Gee, East Orange New Jersey Mayor, Ted Green, school administrators, and various Essex County city officials appear in the visual. Watch it HERE. |
“There is a lot of negativity happening that can be frightening to our youth. The lyrics to the remake of this song encourages kids to stay strong, and champion the future they deserve. We want everyone to know they can be great in whatever path they choose, by staying focused, and seeking out mentors who will empower them in healthy ways,” said Naughty by Nature’s Vin Rock. “Having diverse leaders who reflect their image from law enforcement, education, and the arts show up hard proves the community is in their corner,” added Vin Rock, who still resides in East Orange. |
Champion has supported Naughty by Nature since the legendary group exploded into the global music scene almost three decades ago. Proceeds will fund the choir’s new equipment, uniforms, and teaching tools. |
