Albee AL Releases Deluxe Edition ‘I’m From Marion’
Albee Al doubles down on his was dubbed the Jersey City Gladiator throughout his career, but specifically, his home will always be Marion Projects. I’m From Marion is his declaration that anything is possible. The deluxe edition provides extra tracks that cover his maturation from his harsh upbringing to becoming one of EMPIRE’s many superstars.
One of the newer tracks on the deluxe album version, “My Heart Frozen” featuring Millyz, covers how desensitized Albee became to the superstar lifestyle. In the introduction, Albee states he sees through the fake handshakes and fake hugs. Then, he acknowledges how he’s no longer the same person from the past and how the fast lifestyle doesn’t phase him like it used to. Millyz’ verse covers his story of overcoming the street lifestyle that contains hard drugs and avoiding legal matters. Millyz’ heart is frozen towards the people that weren’t around him while he was facing those adversities.
The extra tracks also contain the remix of Albee’s “Sturdy” featuring some of drill rap’s fastest rising superstars in Tay Savage, Rah Swish, and MG Ant. Additional features on the deluxe album includes KaMillion, Leaf Ward, Shani Boni, and Lil Tjay. Since the release of the initial I’m From Marion album, Albee’s visual for “TOP OPP” with Lil Tjay has 484k views on YouTube in the first month.
