Metro Boomin: The Rise #2 Comic Book Released

SEPTEMBER 27, 2024 – LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, world-renowned artist, music producer and global superstar Leland Tyler Wayne, known professionally as Metro Boomin, continues his modern-day superhero saga exploring a world where music and mythology collide in a fusion of sound and story, with the second installment of The Metroverse comic book series. Following the success of the first issue of the comic, Metro Boomin, in partnership with Zero Zero, continues to grow the footprint of his “Heroes and Villains” empire as an intentional evolution in the literary space.

In the second issue, Metro Boomin: The Rise #2, we see Metro’s character at the forefront of danger when he gains an unlikely alliance with the Nightshade Trio – three bewitching and powerful femme fatales. The Trio arrives on the scene changing the entire Metroverse world as the foursome work together to fight against some of the city’s largest threats. We see the saga unravel as relationships and beliefs are tested and a love interest begins to take center stage.

The Metroverse comic book is an extension of the overarching visionary superhero world of ‘Heroes and Villains’ from the mind of Metro, Greek comic book artist Vasilis Lolos, Ryan Cady, and Zero Zero, which embodies the duality and complexity of a world where music and mythology collide, offering a fresh, creative experience that brings his beats and narratives to life. The “high profile” modern superhero saga serves as a visual interpretation of Metro’s musical journey portrayed in an immersive comic universe.
