LL COOL J Hits the Road for First Time in 30 Years With The F.O.R.C.E. Live Tour

Don’t call it a comeback!

But that is exactly what it is! After spending many years in the hallways of Hollywood, the Future of the Funk is hitting the road for the first time in over 30 years. In order to coincide with the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, rapper and actor, LL COOL J announced his first arena tour since 1996.

LL’s Rock the Bells has partnered with touring giant, Live Nation to bring The F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live starting this summer on June 25, 2023.

In a written statement, LL COOL J says, “I’m excited to be on my first Arena tour in 30 years. It’s proof that our culture is more viable than ever. Get ready for some non-stop beats and rhymes. See you this summer!”

Serving as the backdrop for Ladies Love Cool James will be the prominent hip-hop band, The Roots along with legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Z-Trip.

But, LL is bringing along all of your legendary classic hip-hop artists for the ride. Every date on the tour will feature hip-hop legends performing on stage with each city seeing different rappers and DJs. The featured artists and entertainers have inspired the current generation of hip-hop stars.

Although LL is headlining the tour, it will not be the same as most people have seen. The show will be a musical set that will present whichever artists are appearing in that particular show. It’s being billed as a “nonstop musical mash-up.”

The artists who will be performing will be interwoven within one continuous musical set backed by The Roots. You will see such legendary artists like Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Rakim, Common, MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, De La Soul, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss, Rick Ross and more.

Look out for the show dates as they have already started selling tickets. Verizon customers, as well as Citi cardholders, have been able to purchase in an exclusive presale that ends today. But, another presale is going on right now until 10 p.m. local time when you go to the Live Nation presale, Ticketmaster presale, or a local venue and radio presale. General ticket sales begin Friday, April 28th at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets can be purchased here.

The first show on The F.O.R.C.ELive will take place on June 25th in Boston, MA at TD Garden before making two stops in the New York/New Jersey area in Brooklyn, NY at Barclays Center on June 27th and then the Prudential Center the next night. The tour will end on September 3rd in Los Angeles, CA at Kia Forum.
