MC Zion I Releases Ritual Mystik and Heads Out on Tour
1 min read (November 29, 2018–Oakland, CA) Oakland MC Zion I is hitting the road for a west coast tour, in support of his latest release Ritual Mystik. The tour started December 1 and ends on December 14. Openers include Vocab Slick and DJ Fresh. Touring, says Zumbi, is his favorite way to share his music. “I get to connect with fans directly and it always inspires me.” According to Zumbi, the album was recorded during a very tough time personally. “But creating music helped work out those issues, while staying in an uplifted zone,” notes Zumbi. “This album is about channeling my pain using hip hop as a window to the process of my growth.” Production is shared by Bedrock, G Koop, Nick Andre, Decap, and Kris Klassic.
